Editing Contest Details

Open the contest and go to Details.

You can update:

• Season label
• Contest kinds — a comma-separated list (e.g. International Speech, Evaluation).
• Contest date and time, and timezone
• Zoom link
• Status
• Any custom fields your district has added.

Changing the contest date

If the contest hasn't finished, changing the date recalculates the due date of every incomplete task on the checklist that isn't already due. Before you save, the page shows how many tasks will shift so you're not surprised by it. Completed tasks and tasks without a relative due date aren't touched.

Status

A contest moves through Draft → Active → Complete, or can be marked Archived. Status doesn't gate what you can edit — it's informational and used for filtering.
