Signing Up to Judge a Contest

This is for volunteers signing up as a Contest Judge (CJ) — not a Contest Chief Judge (CCJ) or District Chief Judge (DCJ). Those roles are seated by contest staff or the DCJ, not self-signup.

  1. Go to My Volunteer Profile (/volunteer/mine).
  2. Under the list of active contests in the district, find the one you want to judge.
  3. Select Sign up to judge.

A few rules apply:

  • You can't sign up to judge a contest you're also competing in.
  • You can only sign up once per contest — signing up again has no effect.
  • Only contests that are currently Active and in your district show up here.

Changed your mind? Select Cancel next to the contest to remove your judge signup. This also cancels any outstanding invitation tied to it. Canceling works even after the contest has finished.
