Season Rollout

Season Rollout (/admin/season-rollout) is Coordinator-only. It creates a whole season's contests in one pass instead of one at a time through Creating a Contest.

1. Enter a season label (e.g. Fall 2026) and choose Area or Division.
2. Select Load to bring up a grid of every area or division you can create contests for.
3. Any scope that already has a contest for this season is pre-unchecked and marked existing.
4. Check the ones to include, and enter a date/time for each.
5. Set the timezone and select Roll out.

Each contest created this way is identical to one created by hand — same Draft status, same active checklist template snapshot, same standard briefings.

If two coordinators roll out the same season at once, whichever contests already exist by the time yours runs are skipped rather than duplicated — the summary after rollout tells you how many were created versus skipped.
