Shared Files

Shared Files (/admin/scope-files) is for directors who want a file to apply automatically to every contest within their scope — the whole district, a division, or an area — instead of uploading it separately to each contest.

You'll see one section per scope you manage. If you manage more than one (say, a division and an area within it), each gets its own upload area.

Uploading

Pick which scope to upload into, a category, a visibility tag, and the file. It immediately becomes visible, read-only, on every contest inside that scope — see Managing Contest Files for where it shows up.

Visibility ceiling

Coordinators can tag a shared file up to Coordinators. Everyone else managing a scope caps out at Contest Admin — you can't share a file only Coordinators-and-above can see unless you are one.

Removing or retagging

Select delete to remove a shared file, or change its tag and save to adjust who can see it. Both apply instantly across every contest in that scope.
